Back to basics, J-3 on floats just plain flying fun.
cc dean

This Beech D-18 on floats is becoming rarer ever year.
cc dean

A Cessna 120 on Floats back in the day. I'm lucky enough to have two sets of EDO 1650 floats for the Cessna 120/140's still waiting to have a house on the water so I can use them everyday.

DHC-2 in Ketchikan Alaska
cc dean

It isn't everyday that you see a plane with four wheels in Los Angeles
cc dean

This Cessna 140 cruises at Vne with a O-235 in her.
cc dean

This is severe clear for Los Angeles looks like VFR to me.
cc dean

Loose formation with James McCauley
cc dean

While flying from St Louis MO I stoped at Emporia Kansas. N76014 feels at home on the grass
cc dean

I used to have a fleet of cessna 140's but N90168 is lost forever I'm afraid
cc dean

Unverified story of a Cessna 140 landed in new york after being stolen from a near by airport. It makes a good story anyways
cc dean

Sad story :( N90168 was lost about 10 miles east of Catalina Island while fish spotting, pilot Marcus was recovered with serious injuries but alive god bless him, but the plane was sunk 2900' below sea level. Want to buy a plane?
cc dean

Fastest 172 on the planet
cc dean

old shot gun panel but funtional
cc dean

After a 17K engine overhaul I managed to stop the oil leak at least temporarily
cc dean

New interior of my cessna 172 in 2005 I should have done the armrest too I guess
cc dean

I'm giving her all she's got Captain
cc dean

I don't think that I am going to out climb that mountain
cc dean

That is a shadow, there is NO grease on the belly
cc dean

This has to be the clearest day in Los Angeles history
cc dean

I don't know who this is but it is a nice picture of a cessna 140 that makes good wallpaper
cc dean

My first and still favorite plane
cc dean

Looks good from this side too
cc dean

Now this is how a cockpit should look
cc dean

Yes the yokes are on upside down in this pic but that has been fixed too now. This is pretty small cockpit especially to fly from Wichata Kansas to El Monte CA with two big guys.
cc dean

I don't have any idea what kind of exhaust was in this plane but it only took $1500 to set it right with a overhauled C-150 exhaust after the old stuff fell off in the pattern
cc dean

All things considered a pretty nice plane for 15K
cc dean

Dude I think that we are over gross
cc dean

Pictures from ebay that I tracked the owner down with in Kansas and bought her in 2002
cc dean

waco makes good wallpaper I believe this is a YMF-5? Anyone have any idea
cc dean

Capt Dean Sibley sitting left seat in a dc-10 circa 1977 coming back from Hawaii, nice tan huh?
cc dean

Looks like a lot of fun to fly

Corona Airport fuel pit after servere flooding during the winter of 2004
cc dean

I thought about put a military paint job on my Cessna 172 but after a nice paint detail job I think that it can wait a while
cc dean

A personal favorite the Cessna 195 I spent a couple of years looking for a nice one on floats but now I have too many planes and I've figured out that you can't fly them all at the same time
cc dean

The Aztruck can haul anything that you can fit in her
cc dean

Good panel but the intsruments are a bit scattered
cc dean

Twin stands for: Two Wallets Isn't eNough. I've owns 96Y for over five years and put about 50 hours on her thanks to the high price of gas and the fact that she burns 40 gallons an hour OUCH!!
cc dean

The prop stops here
